Bronco Models 1/35 sWS 60cm Infrared Searchlight Carrier "UHU"

The Bronco Models sWS 60cm Infrared Searchlight Carrier represents a fascinating chapter in German wartime innovation. This 1/35 scale kit captures the "UHU" (Eagle Owl) — a specialized armoured vehicle designed to mount an infrared searchlight system for night operations and concealed target illumination.

The kit delivers exceptional detail typical of Bronco's engineering approach. You'll build a fully rendered sWS halftrack chassis with photo-etched components, turned metal barrel, and highly detailed infrared searchlight apparatus. The turret mechanism and mounting hardware reflect authentic construction methods, while decal options provide historically accurate markings for various operational theatres.

Perfect for modellers seeking a unique, lesser-known subject that combines technical interest with challenging assembly. Ideal for dioramas, mechanised warfare collections, and those exploring German armoured vehicle development beyond standard tank kits.

Intermediate to advanced skill level recommended. Requires paint, adhesive, and basic modeling tools (not included).
