Meng Model 1/48 LS-017 McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II

The McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II stands as one of aviation's most formidable fighters. This 1/48 scale Meng kit captures the legendary jet's aggressive lines and multi-role capability with exceptional detail.

The F-4E variant introduced the internal M61 Vulcan cannon, distinguishing it from earlier versions and cementing its role as a dominant air-to-air and ground-attack platform throughout the Cold War and beyond. Operators across multiple nations flew this aircraft to great effect.

Meng's engineering delivers finely engraved panel lines, refined cockpit detail, and comprehensive ordnance options including Sparrow and Sidewinder missiles. The fuselage construction employs precision-fit components that reward careful assembly with a model of museum-quality presence.

Suited for intermediate to experienced modellers, this kit offers rewarding build complexity and excellent display potential. Authentic markings for multiple air forces are included, allowing you to represent this icon in its various operational theatres.
